On August 15, 2025, the California College and University Police and Public Safety Chiefs’ Association (CCUPPCA) held a high-level meeting with leadership from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO). During the meeting, representatives from the CCUPPCA Board of Directors gather information about upcoming ICE enforcement activities and raised urgent concerns regarding their potential impact on student safety, campus operations, and the broader well-being of communities within California’s colleges, universities, and K-12 schools.
This webinar is designed to provide educational institutions with critical information shared by ICE, as well as a comprehensive overview of the potential impacts of their enforcement actions in conjunction with recent legislation, including Senate Bill 98. Expert panelists and presenters will offer practical guidance and outline essential steps that campus leaders should take to anticipate and reduce the risk of major disruptions while supporting impacted students and staff.
